Bald Eagle (not a live bird/critter - BUT meaningful)

This impressive eagle statue was created by James Seaman and can been seen on the north end of Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge near the New York State Thruway. The eagle has a 21 foot wingspan and was installed to commemorate 40 years of the bald eagle program at Montezuma.

Eagles commonly fly alone.

Thank you for sharing this with us birders this week at I'd Rather B Birdin'.
