  3. Ooh, yes, I see the nest. I used to live across a river from several osprey nests, and it was wonderful to watch the big birds glide in the thermals. "Soars high on thermals, particularly at midday near breeding colonies, but also in migration." (From Birds of North America Online, Cornell Lab of Ornithology)
