- The New York State Fair toppled two attendance records Monday, setting new standards for single-day and total fair attendance.
- A total of 124,819 people packed the fair on Labor Day, breaking the one-day record set a week ago Sunday by 1,613.
- And the crowds easily broke last year's attendance record for the
entire fair. Over its 13-day run this year, 1,161,912 people visited.
