Auburn-Fleming Trail 2017

This afternoon after walking with Joan at Hoopes Park decided to rewalk the Auburn-Fleming Trail.
Parked on the south end of trail on Route 34. The abandoned railroad bed provided a pleasant trek on what turned into a sunny day.

Note - clicking on photos enlarges them.

Few wildflowers were yet blooming with the exception of Mayapples and the occasional yellow flower.
There were also few birds, although I did flush four Mourning Doves, an American Robin, and a Blue Jay. The highlight of this venture was a White-breasted Nuthatch and an Eastern Phobe.
One of my Auburn-Fleming Trail walks was featured on New York Outdoors Blog.
