Tedeschi Trucks Band

Michael and I went to this year’s fifth-anniversary tour of the Tedeschi Trucks Band at CMAC. Joined by the acclaimed Americana duo Shovels & Rope, the husband/wife duo of Michael Trent and Cary Ann Hears. Plus, Blackberry Smoke completed this year’s Wheels of Soul lineup.

The Grand Hotel

This evening Joan and I attended our third play of the 2019 season, Grand Hotel at the Preston H. Thomas Theatre in The Merry-Go-Round Playhouse. Weather was ideal. Once in our seats we surveyed the crowd which was somewhat sparse.
