This impressive eagle statue was created by James Seaman and can been seen on the north end of Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge near the New York State Thruway. The eagle has a 21 foot wingspan and was installed to commemorate 40 years of the bald eagle program at Montezuma.
Daniel Johnson (Auburn Doubledays CF) breaks up a no-hitter by Adonis Medina (Williamsport Crosscutters righthander) with a single in the bottom of the ninth inning.
It's funny what a few no-hitters do for a body.

This Keeler beer bottle has a blob top that dates it to the mid to late 1880s. The neat thing about the Keeler bottles is there are so many color variants, honey amber, amber, and even a greenish amber color. Produced by the Clyde Glass Works, Clyde, NY. The Keeler bottles are quite sought after at bottle shows, selling for $40 - $50, depending on condition (no chips or cracks) and color.
Found this bottle in my backyard while preparing flower beds.
Head up Main Street from the Olympic Center, following the curve left onto Saranac Avenue. Across from the Howard Johnson's, turn left toward the Lake Placid Center for the Arts. The sculpture is in the middle of the parking lot on your right.
